Audrey was a fun, loving Mother, Grandmother and friend. She will be missed by many.

Audrey lived a full and happy life, traveling much with family.

She retired from her dream job as Ward Clerk at the Kings Daughter's Hospital in Norfolk VA. Audrey retired to Garner NC to tend her daughter, Pam Cash, diagnosed with cancer, passing away in 2016.

She adjusted well to life in Garner, getting involved in many town activities that improved and helped to grow the downtown area. As one of the original members of the Garner Senior Center, she promoted the "On The Mend" group, who provided various sewn items to area hospitals and nursing homes. Often the senior Center was considered her "home away from home".

Audrey was born in Columbus, Ohio, the middle child of 11 children; 8 of whom precede her in death. She is survived by two daughters, Mona Garrett of Raleigh and Terry Spainhour of Marietta GA. Surviving sisters are Carolyn Stevens and Judy Felan. Grandchildren are Matthew Bailey, Tom Spainhour, Amy Allen, Tim Spainhour and Shelly Taylor. Great Grand-children are Liam, Tate and Silas Allen, Luke and Levi Spainhour, Colette, Nathan, Rosie and Ezra Spainhour and Joplin Wohner belonging to Matt Bailey.

A Celebration of Life is planned for April 12 at the Garner Senior Center on Garner Rd, 1-4:30. Light fare will be served
