Steven Andrew Macaluso

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Steven Macaluso,a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished member of our family, who passed away peacefully on February 9, 2025 at the age of 66 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in New York on March 23, 1958. He graduated at Indian Hills High School class 1976. He was the beloved spouse of Rosegelle Aldojisa for 9 years and their children, Lexie Hayleigh and Kayleigh Quinn Macaluso.

Other survivors include: Brother Joseph (Cathy) of Colorado, Richard ( Debbie) New Jersey, Thomas ( Sarah) of Charlotte North Carolina.

He will be remembered for his positive qualities like kindness, sense of humor, dedication to family and passion for riding and racing motorcycle. He founded Charlotte Metro Zoo which became Metrolina Wildlife Park which is now under new ownership as Tiger World in Rockwell, North Carolina.
