Jeffrey Bruhjell

Jeffrey Roy Bruhjell, 70, of Smithfield, NC, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2025. Born on January 23, 1955, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Jeffrey spent most of his life enriching the communities of Vancouver, British Columbia, England, Virginia & Florida before settling in North Carolina.
A successful investment banker & movie producer prior to his retirement, Jeffrey was known for his love of people and passion for both freshwater and ocean fishing. His warm personality and genuine interest in others left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
Jeffrey is survived by his beloved wife, Angela K. Bruhjell (Harrison); daughter Emily O'Brien (Tim); cherished grandson Keagan P. O'Brien; sister Robin B. Johanson; brother Timothy (Alice); nephews Steven (Angela) and Joseph (Jackie); grand-nieces and nephews David, Shelby, Madeline, and Emma. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Olaf and LaVonne Margaret (née Rehn) Bruhjell, his brother Charles Edward, and many dear friends.
Private interment will be held for immediate family.
