Michael Willumitis

Michael "Mike" Willumitis,age79 passed away on Wednesday, March 05,2025. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Frances W. Willumitis and step son Edward J. Kief. He is survived by his daughter Margie Willumitis, step son Kevin Kief, step daughter Charita Sjoekoer,
6 grandchildren,7 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. He also left behind his beloved poodle Coullion.
Mike was a lover of music, firefighting, wildlife, woodworking, and cooking.
Mike had many roles in his more than 30 year firefighting career, and his knowledge was vast. Mike retired in 2005, shortly after Hurricane Katrina. He and Fran relocated to North Carolina, but always missed home.
