Lidya Griffith

Lidya Griffith passed peacefully Thursday, 3/13/2025. There was a lot of love in our mom’s life and her legacy will live on in all of us. She was an incredible teacher to the children, friend in our adulthood, and a kind person that touched everyone she knew. She was ahead of her time- independent in an era this was uncommon for women. People admired her intelligence and generosity. She enjoyed having people over, walking through flowering gardens, and playing the piano. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She leaves behind her younger brother Carlos and wife Susana, daughter Jennifer and son in law Nabor, daughter Gabrielle and son in law Alex, her grandchildren Ariadna (and husband Lance), Kyle, Kevin and Gabi, and great grandson, Logan. A celebration of life will be held April 6 from 1 to 4 pm at the Wildwood Green Golf Club, 3000 Ballybunion Way, Raleigh, NC 27613. Tel: 919-846-8376.
