Doris Moudy

In memory of Doris Moudy, 90, passed away in Knightdale, NC on June 9, 2025 in the comfort of family members. Doris was born on February 15, 1935 in Monroe, LA to Alexander Bartow and Retha (Boren) Bartow. She graduated Salutatorian from the Arkansas School for the Deaf in 1956. She married her husband Clomer Moudy in Fort Smith, AR in 1958. She was a homemaker. She loved family and friends, nature, life and she was the most mentally strong and fearless person I ever knew. I believe she got that from her Polish heritage.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Clomer Moudy; her mother, Retha Bartow; her brother-in- law, Lee Collins; her sister Carol Collins; her son, Richard Moudy; her brother, Larry Bartow; her sister-in-law, Jacquline Bartow.

She is survived by her two daughters, Retha Moudy and Tammy Moudy; grandchildren, Rick Marshall, Paul Marshall, David Ruwadi II (Sylricka), Summer Carney, Thomas Duncan, Brandon Duncan, Amanda Lane (Johnny), Aubree Moudy, Montana Moudy; brother, Frank Bartow; sisters Rose Rosson (Richard), Joann Jones (Jackie); sister-in-law, Donita Bartow; as well as several dear nephews and nieces. Also many dear family members and many friends (she never met a stranger). She will be greatly missed for her feisty spirit, laughs, dances and true love of life.
