David Warren Bobbitt

David Warren Bobbitt, 82, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at his home.
David was born, April 18, 1943, in Durham, NC. He married Carol Mangum on April 12, 1980. David had a daughter, Denise, from a previous marriage. He loved her dearly.

David was an avid Duke Blue Devils fan. He had season tickets to the basketball games from the early ‘80’s and never missed a game. He had a place at Emerald Isle and loved the beach and his friends in EI. He loved music and would have a beer and listen to his favorite music most afternoons. David was in the Air Force and was proud of his service.

David is survived by his wife, Carol Mangum Bobbitt, his daughter, Denise Durfee and her husband Brian Durfee from Salt Lake City, Utah, his sister Judith Breaux and her daughter April, 5 grand children, Amanda, Jonathan, Savanna, Brian Jr, Brett and all their children . His aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins were very special to David. He loved them and cherished their love.
