Shavon “Lotto” Smith

Shavon, known to many of us as Lotto, was more than a friend—he was a little brother, a guiding light, and a creative force whose presence could brighten any room. Born with a gift for expression and a heart full of talent, he touched countless lives through his music, his humor, and his unwavering loyalty to those he loved.
A man of many skills, Shavon was a mechanic, a beat maker, and a master lyricist whose artistry brought people together and created memories that will never fade. Making music with him was more than collaboration—it was brotherhood, inspiration, and joy. Those moments will be cherished forever.
Shavon leaves behind two beautiful daughters, who will always be surrounded by reminders of how deeply and fiercely their father loved them. His spirit, his strength, and his laughter will live on through them and through every person he touched.
Anyone who knew Shavon knew his gift for laughter. He could turn the darkest day into something bright with his jokes, his impressions, and his spot-on portrayals of the comedians he admired. His energy was contagious. His smile was unforgettable. His soul was bright.
Even in loss, Shavon would not want us weighed down by grief. He would want us to look forward, live boldly, and honor his memory by becoming the best versions of ourselves. That was who he was—someone who encouraged hope, joy, and resilience, even through challenges.
With profound love and endless gratitude, we send Shavon off, believing that he is in a better, peaceful place. His legacy—his creativity, his humor, and his heart—will remain with us always.
May God rest his soul.
Rest in power, Shavon “Lotto.” Smith
