Barbara Ann Matheny

Barbara Ann Matheny, age 78, passed away Sunday, November 16th at WakeMed in Raleigh. She grew up the youngest child of 6 in Harnett County to the late Lina Lee Adams and Victor Glenn Adams. She loved her family and bragged about her grandchildren often.

She is survived by her husband John of the home, daughters Wendy Brown (Kirk) and Tracey Wright (Charles) both of Angier, sister Melba Butler of Coats, grandchildren Brittany Weaver, Courtney Trexler, Amber Blythe, Tyler O’Quinn, and Chase Rothe, 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
