Willie “Glenn” Davis

Willie "Glenn" Davis, 76, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Transitions Life Care. He was born on September 20, 1949, in Lenoir County to the late Herman Davis and Alma Hobbs-Davis.

Glenn is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 52 years, Margaret "Kay" Copeland Davis. He is survived by his daughter, Amy Davis; his son, Alan Davis; his grandchildren, Kristen Davis, Micah Davis, and Jade Davis; his brothers, Herman Davis and Jimmy Hobbs; and his nieces and nephews.

Glenn loved Jesus as his Savior and carried a deep confidence in his salvation. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose family meant everything to him. Glenn loved sports, and a gifted natural athlete, Glenn was honored with induction into the Lenoir County Sports Hall of Fame in 2019. He cherished attending family reunions and reconnecting with old friends whenever he could, and he maintained many treasured friendships throughout his life.

Those who knew Glenn will remember his warmth, his faith, and his enduring love for the people around him. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
