Thelma Nodine

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Thelma Samples Nodine, who left this world peacefully on February 18, 2026 at the age of 83.

Thelma was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose love knew no bounds. She filled our lives with kindness, strength, and unwavering support. Her home was always a place of comfort, laughter and open arms. She will be remembered for her generous heart and spirit.

Born on January 29, 1943 in Strange Creek, WV to Russell and Clara Samples. She is survived by her loving husband Joe, her cherished sons, Joe, Jr., Glenn (Darlene) and David Nodine, grandson Tyson Hollndsworth (Audrey) and great-grandchildren Autumn, Taylor, and Ethan.

Our mother taught us the meaning of love, patience, and resilience. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit lives on in the lessons she shared and the love she gave so freely. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
