Harold Brock

Harold Wesley Brock, 86, of Durham, North Carolina, passed away on February 20, 2026 surrounded by his family.

He was born on February 26, 1939 to Therrell and Annie V. Parker Brock in Chesterfield County, South Carolina. Harold lived a life defined by dedication, service, faith and quiet strength. He proudly served his country in the military for three years before beginning a long career in the textile industry. He was known for his strong work ethic and for always being willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Harold had a special gift for fixing things — whether it was something broken around the house or simply a problem someone needed help solving. He found joy in serving at St. Paul United Methodist Church and valued the friendships and faith community he built there over the years. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years JoAnn Brock; his sons, Keith Brock (Deborah), Chris Brock(Angela) and his four grandchildren, Garrett, Davis, Owen, and Leah, who will forever carry his love and legacy in their hearts. Also he is survived by his brothers Richard Brock(Cornelia) and Jerry Brock.

A service to celebrate Harold’s life will be on Saturday, February 28 at 1pm at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church at 2700 N Roxboro St. Durham, NC 27704.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
