Carolyn Willey

Carolyn Faye Willey, age 76, loving sister and aunt, died on Friday, March 6, 2026 at Phoenix Assisted Living Care in Cary, NC.

She was born in Richmond, VA. to the late Cornelia Shell Willey and Clarke Randolph Willey, Jr., moving to Raleigh, NC at the age of 13. Surviving are her sister, Ann and husband Al Cohen of Cary, NC. Nephew, Mike and great niece, Sara of Fuquay Varina, NC. Brother, Dan and wife Irma Willey of Cary, NC.

Carolyn was an avid reader since childhood, and enjoyed knitting and staying in touch with family and friends through letters and cards for special occasions. Everyone that met or knew her described her as always being sweet and kind. She made many friends at Phoenix and enjoyed the many social gatherings there, especially Bingo. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
