Judith Marie Getty

Judith Marie Getty, 70, passed away peacefully at home in Youngsville, North Carolina on April 12, 2026 after a long and hard fought battle with cancer. She is survived by her mother Helen Bates, her husband Gary Getty, brothers Mike and Bobby Bates, and her children Jennifer Bundschu and David White.

Judith met and married Gary in Ocala, Florida and were happily married for 32+ years, eventually moving to North Carolina and settling in Youngsville to create her beautiful sanctuary, were she enjoyed gardening, baking and taking care of her beautiful Springer Spaniels Autumn, Summer and Winter.

Judith was an extremely hard working, selfless, and dedicated woman, employed by Acosta Sales for several years. She was always going the extra mile to ensure she preformed her job with the utmost professionalism and that her clients needs were taken care of. Along the way Judith developed many professional relationships with co-workers and clients that blossomed into cherished friendships for many years.

Everywhere Judith lived, she was quick to develop friendships thru her generosity and loving and caring manner. She was truly one of a kind and will be truly missed.
