Gregory Pigg

Gregory Allen Pigg, 54, of Albemarle, North Carolina, passed away on April 21, 2026, at Rex University Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina, following a brief battle with liver cancer.

Gregory was born in Warren, Ohio, to John T. Pigg Sr. and Patricia L. Pigg (Vivod). He was preceded in death by his parents and his nephew, John J. Pigg.
He is survived by his three children: Gregory D. Pigg of Lexington, North Carolina; Jessica L. Bastian of Chillicothe, Ohio; and Nicholas A. Pigg of Mount Vernon, Ohio. He is survived by his brother, John T. Pigg Jr. of Albemarle, North Carolina, and his sister, Christina M. Jordan of Mount Vernon, Ohio.

Gregory was an avid NASCAR fan who enjoyed fishing and tinkering with cars. He appreciated life’s simple pleasures and especially valued time spent with his family and friends.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
