Paul “Blake” Terry

Paul Blake Terry, born November 17, 1971, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2026, at Duke Hospital with his family by his side.

Blake was loved deeply by his family and friends and will be remembered for the impact he made on those who knew him. As our family honors Blake’s wishes, as well as the wishes of his children to celebrate his life privately, we are grateful for the many calls, messages, prayers, and support shown during this difficult time.

Blake is survived by his daughter, Tyler Terry and fiancé Patrick of Denver, CO; daughter, Peyton Terry of Asheville NC; and son, Grey Terry and fiancé Breana of Asheville, NC; brother, Mark Terry and wife Tori of Burlington, NC; half-brother, Andrew Terry and wife Danielle of Fuquay-Varina, NC; father, Michael Terry and wife Rhonda of Fuquay-Varina, NC; sister-in-law, Amber Terry and Ayden, wife and son of late brother, Alex Terry of Port St. Lucie, FL; uncle, Tony Terry and wife Jennifer of Bahama, NC; and aunt, Judy Catlin and husband Mark of Bahama, NC, along with many aunts, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Louise Smith Terry; grandmother, Florence Konesky Smith Harrison; and brother, Alex Brock Terry.

Blake was loved by many, and we hope this memorial brings some sense of comfort and closure to all who cared for him.
