Cynthia Evans

Cynthia Lynn Smith Evans, 63, passed away June 2nd, 2026. She was born in Greensboro, NC and spent most of her adult life between the Nash County area and Morehead City by the Atlantic Ocean as she much preferred life at the beach.
She is survived by two children, two brothers, two step siblings and multiple nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Evans, her mother, Rachel Wade, her father, Paul Smith, her stepfather John Wade and step sister, Susan Boger.
Family and friends will arrange a private get-together at a later date and would like to thank Gentiva Hospice Care and City of Oaks Cremation for their services and support.
