Robert Hepburn Blank

Robert Blank (Bob), age 84, was born August 26, 1941, in Cleveland, OH. He spent his early years in New York City and Philadelphia, PA, two cities he regarded fondly his entire life. He later lived in Louisville, KY; Minneapolis, MN; and Asheville and Raleigh, NC. He had a long career in both the nonprofit sector and in business. It was in Minneapolis that he met his wife of 33 years, Ann Tatlock. Bob accepted the Lord as his Savior at the age of 40, and remained steadfast in the faith for the next 44 years. Along with his wife, he was a member of The King’s Chapel in Raleigh, NC. Bob is survived by sisters Connie Hodes and Judy Blank, as well as sons Mark (Mary) and Erik (Tamie) and daughter Laura (Alex). He is also survived by eight grandchildren who range in age from 30 to 3: Robby, Richard, Roxanne, Randy, Jasmine, Aurora, Lilliana, and Arabella. He was surrounded by loved ones when he died after a long health struggle on February 27, 2026.
