Rosemarie Perrin
Rosemarie Elizabeth Wadle Perrin passed away on May 18, 2022, she was 90 years old. She was residing at Falls River Village Assisted Living in Raleigh, NC.
She was born on May 14, 1932, in Jersey City, NJ. Rosemarie graduated from Somers High School, Somers, NY.
In Nov. 1953 Rosemarie married Wallace King Perrin, in Somers, NY. Rosemarie and Wally built their home in Towners, NY in 1963, where they raised their family of 6 children. For many years, she assisted her brother, Gilbert Wadle with his diner and catering business. Rosemarie was the court clerk for the Town of Patterson, NY, retiring after 30 years of service. She was active in the Patterson Fire Department Women’s Auxiliary and The American Legion Auxiliary. During her later years, she was an active attendee to services held at the Patterson Community Church.
In 2018 Rosemarie moved to the Raleigh, NC area to be close to family there. She loved the warm climate and experiencing her great-granddaughter’s first year.
Rosemarie is predeceased by her husband, Wally. She is survived by her 6 children and their families. They are: Diane Gumaer from Sunderland, MA (m. Donald (Rick) Gumaer) children; Traver Gumaer, deceased (m. Victoria Hassam) children; Jonah Gumaer and Ethan Gumaer. Carey Perrin Gumaer (m. Lauren Flinner) and Sarah Elizabeth Inman (m. Garrett Inman). Glen Karl Perrin, from Alpine, WY (m. Claire Zrinscak Perrin, son Dustin Perrin. Lori Ann Hernandez from Penn Valley, CA (m. Ronald Hernandez) children; James Hernandez (Olivia Strickler) children; Aiden and Kiera. Darren Hernandez. Wendy Joan Costa from Ft. Lauderdale, FL (m. Brian Costa) children; Victoria Costa, Michael Costa. Clint Perrin from Schenectady, NY, Robin Lazaro from Raleigh, NC (m. Ralph Lazaro) daughter; Amanda Hanlon (m. John Hanlon) daughter; Nora Rose Hanlon.
We will miss her smile and stories of the family. We have lost a great link to our heritage and she will be missed by many.
There will be a memorial service at a later to be determined date in Patterson, NY where her remains will be put to rest in the family burial plot.
