Bonnie Williams

Raleigh, North Carolina

Age 76.
Died 08/26/606.

Bonnie Williams
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Bonnie Williams, who departed this world on June 5, 2026, just shy of her 77th birthday. Bonnie passed away peacefully, surrounded by love, at Transitions LifeCare in Raleigh, North Carolina. Her departure leaves an indelible mark on all who knew and cherished her.

Born on June 7, 1949, in Moore County, North Carolina, Bonnie was the cherished daughter to Sandell and Ruth Wall. Her upbringing in a loving family environment deeply influenced her gentle nature and steadfast values. Bonnie was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Richard Wall.

Bonnie's journey through life was marked by her unwavering and profound love for her family and her dedication to education. A proud alumna of Appalachian State University, she graduated with a degree in Childhood Education, paving the way for an illustrious career as a lifelong educator. Primarily teaching kindergarten across Moore, Lee, and Wake counties, Bonnie's passion for teaching was evident in her commitment to nurturing a love for reading and learning in each of her students. Her classroom was not just a place of learning but a sanctuary of joy and discovery.

A woman of deep faith, Bonnie was a lifelong Methodist whose strong beliefs restored and carried her through both joyous and challenging times. Her sense of humor and quick wit were legendary, often bringing laughter to those around her. Bonnie had an extraordinary ability to find the good in every situation and was known for her infectious laughter and zest for life.

Bonnie was also an avid reader and walker, finding solace in the pages of books and the beauty of nature. She loved to bake and spend time with her family, especially her grandsons, any way she could. Bonnie's sweet tooth was also well-known, as she was the ultimate chocoholic, a trait she passed on to her children and grandchildren.

Bonnie's legacy lives on through her cherished family: her beloved daughters, Courtney (Jeff) and Kelli, her devoted brother, Robert Wall (Cathy), and her treasured grandsons, Hudson and Emsley. She is also survived by her beloved nieces and nephews. Each of them carries forward her spirit of kindness, humor, and love.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Transitions LifeCare Hospice, an organization that provided Bonnie with compassionate care during her final days. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Transitions LifeCare for their extraordinary compassion and love during Bonnie's care. Their kindness and dedication provided immense comfort during this difficult time.

Bonnie Williams touched the lives of many with her warmth, generosity, and indomitable spirit. Though she may no longer walk among us, her legacy of love and laughter will forever endure in the hearts of those she leaves behind. May she rest in eternal peace, enveloped by the love and light she so freely gave to the world.

Immediate Burial

$2497.50

An immediate burial has the same end result as a traditional burial; however, we have eliminated the extra (sometimes unnecessary) services prior to getting to the cemetery. Not everyone wants an open casket for viewing or a limousine for the family. Despite the term immediate, we can move as fast as you need or as slow as you like. This option simply allows you to save money by eliminating some of the fancy extras at the funeral home.

Traditional Funeral

$6081.48

We offer the same traditional funeral services as the big corporately owned funeral homes in the area; however, we cost about half the amount. You might consider a traditional funeral service if your family is looking for an open casket visitation, a traditional church service or a funeral service in the funeral home's chapel. A traditional funeral service can be altered to fit the needs of your family.

Green Burial

$3033.75

This establishment is one of a select number of funeral homes who meet the criteria for providing green funeral service by the Green Burial Council; a tax-exempt, nonprofit organization working to encourage environmentally sustainability in the field of funeral service. Our Green options allow for a funeral to take place without the use of toxic and non-biodegradable materials/chemicals.

Alkaline Hydrolysis

$2640.59

As an alternative to traditional cremation, City of Oaks Funeral Home offers Alkaline Hydrolysis. The Alkaline Hydrolysis process uses a solution of water and potassium hydroxide to facilitate natural decomposition.
