Jenny Jones

Jenny “Ducky” Jones, 63, died of heart failure at Duke University Medical Center on July 15, 2024.

She was the widow of Bill Jones and is survived by her dog, Duke, sisters Debbie Ketron and Teresa Hill, brother Joe Hill, and many nieces and nephews.
Jenny was known for her caustic wit, fierce intelligence, and her big, though damaged, heart. She attended T.C. Roberson High School and UNC-Wilmington. She has many old friends in Arden, NC where she came of age.
She was devoted to her AA group “Women Empowering Women” in Wilmington. She achieved sobriety in August, 2020.
