In Loving Memory of Adam Day

June 22, 1992 – October 19, 2026

Adam Day, of Raleigh, North Carolina, passed away on October 19, 2026.

Adam was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Charleah Day. Throughout his life, Adam was dealt a hard hand, facing challenges that not everyone could understand. Yet, he continued to make the most of the life he was given. His story was not defined by the hardships he faced, but by the love he shared, the laughter he brought, and the kindness he showed to others.

Adam will be remembered most for his selflessness and unwavering support for the people he loved. He had a way of showing up for others, often giving what he could without expecting anything in return. His heart was bigger than his circumstances, and his generous spirit left a lasting mark on the lives of those around him.

Though family is not always defined by blood, Adam was blessed with a group of friends who became his family. These friendships were a meaningful part of his life, built on shared memories, loyalty, laughter, and love. Those who knew Adam will forever remember his contagious laugh, his unforgettable smile, his love for poker and movies, and the moments spent together that became memories to hold onto.

Adam’s life reminds us that even when life is not easy, there is still room for laughter, generosity, friendship, and love. He may be gone far too soon, but the love he gave so freely and the memories he leaves behind will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Keeping Adam’s Memory Alive

Adam’s friends ask that, in his memory, we continue to show up for one another the way he did for the people he loved. We ask that you remember the things you loved most about Adam and carry those qualities forward in your own lives. Whether it was his generosity, his loyalty, his humor, or the way he made people feel supported, let those pieces of Adam live on through the way we treat one another. The best way to honor him is to become a little more like the person we loved so much.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that you share your favorite stories and memories of Adam with us. We hope to gather these stories into a small book that we can treasure for years to come, filled with the laughter, love, and moments that made Adam who he was. We would be grateful for every memory, big or small, because each one holds another piece of him.

For those who wish to make a donation in Adam’s memory, donations may be made to The Green Chair Project or Healing Transitions, in honor of a life that touched so many.

Thank you for helping us keep Adam’s memory alive, not only in the stories we tell, but in the love and kindness we continue to give to one another.
