Ben Conley

Benson “Ben” J. Conley, age 48, passed away on July 6, 2023, in Cary, North Carolina. Ben was born October 13, 1974, in Medina, Ohio to Bennie R. and Lynne F. (Pavlak) Conley. He was preceded in death by his father, Bennie. Ben is survived by his wife of 15 years, Susan K. (Giberson) Conley; mother, Lynne; sister, Jodi L. Conley; uncle, Jeffrey (Patricia) Pavlak; brother-in-law, Lawrence (Mary) Giberson; sister-in-law, Mary Ann (Jay) Riggins; and other extended family.

Ben graduated from Cloverleaf High School in Lodi, Ohio in 1993, and went on to attend Kent State University, where he graduated with a degree in Business Administration in 1998. Ben worked as a software engineer and was most recently employed as a manager with LexisNexis.

Ben was a thoughtful person who took care of his family and loved spending time with his three dogs, Paul Rudd, Pixie, and Gidget. He was an auto enthusiast who enjoyed working on his classic Mazda Miatas and taking them on long drives through the mountains. The Blue Ridge Parkway was one of his favorite scenic drives. Ben was also an avid runner with a green thumb who was masterful at “wheeling and dealing.”
