Laura J. Winkler

Laura Joan Winkler (Laswell) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, surrounded by family.
Laura was born in Boonville, Indiana on November 4, 1980 to Sandra and David Laswell.
Laura graduated high school in Durham, North Carolina. She worked as a 911 Operator for Wake County until she retired.
Laura enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She loved traveling, and activities such as scuba diving, skydiving and zip-lining to name a few.
She was preceded in death by her father, David V. Laswell III.
Surviving family members are; her grandmother, Joan Thomas, of Palm Bay, FL; mother, Sandra Laswell, of Palm Bay, FL; siblings, David V. Laswell IV, of Taylorsville, KY; Gina (James) Pardue, of Elberfeld, IN; and Doug (Sarina) Durbin of Taylorsville, KY; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and many cousins.
Laura is loved by all and will be greatly missed and always treasured.
