Roger Eugene Pulley Jr.

Roger Eugene Pulley Jr., aged 64, a resident of Louisburg, peacefully transitioned into the embrace of Christ on Sunday, August 27, 2023. His Cherished family surrounded him as he embarked on this journey. Born in Vance County, NC, he was the son of the late Roger Eugene Pulley (father) and the late Thomas Edward Timberlake (stepfather). Kathleen Burroughs Timberlake (mother) survives him.

He leaves behind his devoted wife of 33 years, Karen Pulley, and his legacy continues through his children: Brittany (Matthew) Perry, Christopher Pulley, and Mikaela (David) Hughes. His grandchildren, Briana, Braxtyn. Enoch Perry, Ben and Brooke Hughes, will forever carry his memory. His siblings, Jim Young, Charlie (Julie) Timberlake, and Kathy (Todd) Holmquist, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, also cherish his memory.

Gene led a quiet existence, finding solace in gardening and the outdoors. Yet, his impact on his loved ones was far from small or silent. Throughout his life, he was an unstoppable force, a whirlwind of laughter and happiness, always in motion. While he worked as a skilled carpenter, his greatest joy emanated from moments spent with his beloved wife Karen, their children, grandchildren, and extended family.

The family of Gene Pulley wishes to express their gratitude for the overwhelming outpouring of love, prayers, and acts of kindness that have comforted them during this difficult time.
