Brodie Lee Woods

Mr.Brodie Lee Woods was born on December 9,1931 in White Oak, Wake County.
He was the son of the late Lee Roy woods and Loretta Mangum. He departed this life February 23,2023. He was proceeded in death by his wife Berdice Woods, two brothers Willie and Warren Woods, two half brothers June Hicks, Raymond Bonds, one sister Eva Suit, daughter Sheila Gray and adopted daughter Barbara McFarland.
Brodie attended Apex elementary school in Apex, NC.
He worked in Brooklyn, New York as a construction worker. He was a member of the Greater Saint Paul Baptist Church in Durham, NC. Later he faithfully attended Miracle Temple until his health started to began to fail.
Brodie was loved by his family and friends. He will always be remembered for his love and supporting others. He had a talent for working on cars, his garden and loved going fishing.
Brodie leaves to cherish his memories, one daughter Patricia Woods of Raleigh, NC. One sister Lottie Bell Prude of Brooklyn, NY. Five grandchildren LaToya Jones (Joe Jones), Hassan Hoff, Joseph Miller, Khalid Smith and Jessica Connor. Three adopted grandchildren, eighteen great grandkids and six great great grandkids who will always miss him and a host of nieces, nephew’s other relatives and friends.
