Rosa Evans Grissom

Rosa Evans Grissom, 72 of Hope Mills, NC passed away on Sunday, February 18th, 2024 with her family by her side. Rosa graced this earth with her birth on April 22, 1951 in Fayetteville, NC to Laymon and Naomi Evans (Cain).

Rosa had a profound love for the Lord, her family, friends and her church family. She greatly enjoyed spending time with the ones she loved, attending church and volunteering at Blossoms Thrift Store Missions Ministry. Rosa was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She illuminated grace, patience and love to everyone she knew. Rosa was and will continue to be everything that is beautiful and right in this world. There are simply no words to describe how much she will be missed.

She was predeceased in death by her parents Laymon Evans and Naomi Evans (Cain). Her son Steven Kevin Sweat and sister Nancy Evans Webster.

Rosa is survived by her daughter Jaime West Haddock (Scott), sister Wanda Evans Bell (Larry), brother Ray Cain (Cheryl), granddaughters Chelsea Sweat Paul (Tyler), Audrey Rose Haddock and great grandson Milo Paul. She was deeply loved by her nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be a celebration of life that will be announced at a later date.
