Adrienne Lorraine Fetzer

Adrienne Lorraine Fetzer, 72, of Holly Springs, NC, passed away on February 23, 2021, into the presence of her Savior.
Adrienne was born on May 19, 1948, to Harold and Vivienne O. Blanke in Los Angeles, CA. She grew up on a farm in Pavilion, NY. Her love of animals began at a young age, and she was very active in 4H growing up. She graduated from Pavilion Central School in 1966 and Ohio State University in 1970. Adrienne was a teacher for over 20 years at Bolivar Richburg Central School in Bolivar, NY. She was an active member of Obi Community Church where she taught Sunday School for many years.
After retiring to Holly Springs, NC, Adrienne continued serving others by volunteering at a local food pantry and hosting Bible studies in her home.
Adrienne was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, always laughing with them, encouraging them in their interests, and teaching them about Jesus. Some of her favorite activities were reading, traveling, meeting new people, and walking her beloved dog, Sarah.
Adrienne will be remembered for her joyful, giving spirit, and for devoting herself as a mother, teacher, prayer warrior, and mentor. Her greatest joy was to introduce others to Jesus.
Adrienne was predeceased by her mother, father, and her sister, Marianne Blanke. She is survived by her brother, Richard Blanke; her children, Christine (Marc) Chamberlain, Aprille Fetzer, Justen (Leslie) Fetzer, and seven grandchildren.
Although she is greatly missed, her family and friends take comfort in a verse she often quoted, “Absent from the body, present with the Lord.”
