Suzanne Sedelmeyer

Suzanne Sedelmeyer, 67 years old of Raleigh, NC passed away on July 8, 2024 unexpectedly. Her passing comes as a shock to her family, friends, and loved ones who are still reeling at the loss. She lived a vibrant life and still had so much time ahead of her.

Suzanne was born October 5, 1956 in Needham, MA; she was the youngest of four born to the late Normand and Jeanne Michaud.

Suzanne is survived by her husband of 41 years: Ray, and their children: Mercedi Sedelmeyer of Raleigh, NC, Cody Sedelmeyer and his wife Maggie of Big Island, VA, Jazzi LoBue and her husband Michael of Raleigh, NC, and Jaime Thiesen and her husband Chris of Rome, NY.

She had seven grandchildren who she loved dearly: Logan Bower(20) of Raleigh, Eli(13) and Forrest(9) of Big Island, VA, Taylor(5) and Skylar(2) of Raleigh, Marley(15) and Nikko(7) of Rome, NY.

Suzanne dedicated her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother and wife. She was a force, she had so much life and personality. Always the life of the party and an amazing cook. Suzanne loved the beach, floating in the pool, spending time with her husband, family and her beloved dog Lucy.

We couldn’t have asked for a better wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and will miss Suzanne every day.

A funeral service will be held Friday, July 26, 2024 2pm at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 11401 Leesville Rd. Raleigh, NC 27613 (St. Mary of Angels Chapel)
