Robert Vossburg

Robert Vossburg, who resided in Wake Forest, NC; passed away on October 11, 2024, at the age of ninety. Born on August 24, 1934, Robert was known for his amiable and outgoing personality, often described as a "good guy" by those who knew him. He had an innate ability to make and appreciate friends, driven by his love for entertaining.
Robert graduated from Jeannette High School and soon after embarked on a significant career with Jeannette Glass Company, where he also served as a Union Secretary for American Flint Glassworkers. His work not only demonstrated his dedication but also his commitment to the welfare of his colleagues.
In his leisure time, Robert was affectionately nicknamed "Cueball," a nod to his passion for billiards. His love for the game was only rivaled by his enthusiasm for golf, which he enjoyed watching and playing.
Robert was preceded in death by George Mangan his stepfather, Louise Mangan his mother, Elizabeth Vossburg his grandmother, brothers Frank Mangan, George Mangan, William Mangan, his wife Susan, also his wife, Betty Jean Kusinsky Vossburg.
He is survived by a loving family that includes his sister, Cathy Difonso and her husband Paul; son Ricky and daughter-in-law, Jo Hall; daughter, Stacy and son-in-law, Javier Saenz grandchildren, Nicholas Vossburg his wife Ashley Patrick, Garrett Davis and his wife Kara Cowan; Charles Vossburg and Tiffany Davis; great-grandchildren, Destiny, Landon, and Carson, Sister’s in law Barbra Mangan (Frank’s wife), Jan Mangan (George’s wife) and Aggie Kusinsky.
