Lisa Mary Walor passed away peacefully on Oct 23rd at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, NC. She was born on Sept.18th 1936 in Madbury, NH. She was the daughter of the late John B and Dorothea DiCicco. Lisa was raised in Madbury, NH. She lived in Exeter most of her life and then moved to North Carolina in 2006. Lisa worked at Grants Drugstore in downtown Exeter as a young girl and later worked at the Exeter Bowling Lanes where she also taught the game of candlepin bowling. She and her husband John along with her brother John DiCicco and sister in law Pat purchased the business and became owners for many years. Her last job was doing what she did best, helping others as Activities Director at Eventide Nursing Home in Exeter. In her spare time she loved to bowl, crochet, play cards and make the most amazing meals for her family.
Her greatest joy came from her family. Lisa was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and GiGi. She shared 51 years of marriage to her husband John. She adored her only child John and his wife Kelly who gave her 2 beautiful grandchildren Jordan and Shauna. Then in December of 2019 her proudest moment came when she became a great grandmother to Canaan.
She is pre deceased by her husband John, her brother Louis DiCicco, her sister Antoinette Lawhan. She is survived by her son John and his wife Kelly of Clayton NC, her grandchildren Jordan of Surprise AZ, Shauna and her husband Zachary and great grandson Canaan Chase Sallinger of Clayton, NC. She is also survived by 3 brothers Ernest DiCicco of Exeter. John and Pat DiCicco of Exeter and Albert and Marie DiCicco of Houston TX and many nieces and nephews.
The family has no memorial service planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St Jude Children's Hospital.
