Mary Shallcross

Mary Margaret (Kivlehan) Shallcross passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2024. Mary was born in Chicago, IL on January 13, 1951. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Joe Shallcross, 3 children and their partners, 9 grandchildren, 3 siblings, and many sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. Mary was a homemaker who loved Jesus Christ, decorating, antiquing, celebrating with loved ones, and sneaking candy. She and her family lived across the country in many different states, acquiring loving friends along the way. Mary and Joe settled in Stem, NC in 2015 where Mary enjoyed the peace and quiet of the nature that surrounded her.

Her funeral services will take place on Monday, January 13, 2025 at 12:30PM at Bluestem Conservation Cemetery https://www.bluestemcemetery.org/ followed by a casual gathering and snacks at Trinity Avenue Presbyterian Church https://www.trinityave.org/ . Please feel free to share a 1–2 minute memory about Mary at the gathering.
