Michael was the father of six children: Timothy, Korina, Michael, Terri, Danielle, and Russell. They were also a father figure to Lori. Although estranged at the time of their passing, they shared over 20 years with their wife Gayle.

A devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Michael’s faith was a guiding force throughout their life. Their spiritual devotion provided them with strength and purpose.

A funeral service will be held on February 24, 2025, at City of Oaks Funeral Home, in Raleigh, North Carolina.
