Louetta Tucker Sasnett

Louetta Tucker Sasnett, age 85 of Kittrell, NC, passed away on March 5, 2025.
Louetta was born on May 21, 1939 on her family farm in the Gray Rock community. She was the daughter of the late Robert Fred Tucker, Sr and Hilda Clayton Tucker.

She is survived by her two daughters Elizabeth Montren (Bill) and Harriett Sasnett; grandchildren Shawn Montren (Peyton), Lauren Montren and Ricky Evans and a special first cousin, Bobbie Sammons (Charlie).
She was preceded in death by husband Joseph Erbie Sasnett and her youngest daughter, Joyce Sasnett as well as her four sisters and one brother.
A homemaker at heart, Louetta found joy in taking care of her children. She enjoyed family gatherings with her sisters and brother on holidays and special occasions. Later in life she enjoyed simple things like her favorite snacks and visits with special friends and family.

Louetta was known for her quiet strength that carried her through life’s challenges.
A special thank you to the nurses, aids and staff at Oxford Health and Rehabilitation Center for taking such good care of her over the last year.
A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church Creedmoor on Saturday March 29th from 10am-11am.
