Richard Leroy Higgs, Sr.

Richard Leroy Higgs Sr. age 74 of Franklinton NC, passed away on March 23, 2025, at Wake
Med Hospital in Raleigh NC. Richard was born September 28, 1950, in Washington DC, He
was a cherished father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend. He was preceded in
death by the love of his life Darla Lea Higgs whom he shared 53 years of marriage with.
Richard is survived by his children Richard Higgs Jr. and wife Kim Higgs of Franklinton NC.
Thomas Higgs and Wife Marcie of Holly Springs NC. He is also survived by his sister Audry
Moran of College Park Md. Margeret Johnson of Georgia and a multitude of beloved
grandchildren Miranda Holdridge, Jessica Higgs, Hailee Higgs, Morgan Higgs, Nick Higgs,
Ethan Higgs and great Grand children Marcello, Mateo, Oaklee and Maddox.
Richard will be forever in our hearts and prayers.
