Brenda Jernigan Stancil

Brenda Jernigan Stancil, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2025, at age 86.

A lifelong resident of Dunn North Carolina, Brenda was
born September 1, 1938, and lived a life filled with love, faith and creativity. Brenda was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on August 7, 1970. Her faith was the foundation of her life for more than half a century. She found great joy in sharing Bible truths with others until the final days of her life.

She is survived by Jay Stancil, Michael Stancil, Radon Stancil, Kevin Stancil, and RaDonna Torgeson, and her beloved sister, Janice Strickland of Dunn. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Jackson and Bella Stancil.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Radon Stancil Sr., her parents, Chalmers and Joanna Jernigan of Sampson County, as well as three sisters and one brother, Audrey, Darlese, Charlotte and Lawrence.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 23, 6pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 702 Maple Ave., Dunn, NC.
