Carina Renee Hardesty

Carina Renee "Bongo" Hardesty (1963–2025)

Bongo is survived by her husband Robert Hardesty; her sisters Chona M., Reda S.; her brothers Raymond S., Rommel S; her niece Samantha S; her nephews Alex S. and RJ M, Christian F and Robin F. She is preceded in death by Mom, Caridad B. 01/2025 and sister, Amor F. 03/2025.

Bongo was born on September 29th in Manila, Philippines to Rene and Caridad Salgado. After high school she and her family moved to NC, USA. She worked 30+ years at LensCrafters as a licensed optician.

Bongo was a gentle soul who you never cross because you know it won't end well...ha ha ha. She is the rock that her family leaned on and the best friend her family confided with. She will be dearly missed by her family and close friends.
