Randy Ellison

Randy Lee Ellison, 67, of Angier NC passed away peacefully while sleeping in his home on April 17,2025 after a long fight with health issues.
He was born on Oct 14,1957 to Clyde and Mildred Ellison being the middle of two other brothers Chuck and Jeff Ellison. He was born in Charleston WV but spent most of his hildhood in Jacksonville NC. In his early twenties he became father to Joseph (Joey) and Amy Ellison.
In his early thirties he met and married Freda Joy Hartsoe on Dec 10,1989 and moved to his current home in Angier NC along with her son Chris Rockvoan. There he worked as a brick mason until his health would no longer allow him to work.
When he wasn’t working he enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and being an ol’ country boy. Jim Beam with country music playing and Joy by his side was a perfect Friday night to him.
He lives behind his wife Freda joy Ellison, her son Chris Rockvoan,Joey Ellison, Amy Ellison Yost
Grandkids Alexis Yost, Savannah Yost, Anthony Yost, Cody Rockvoan, Colin Rockvoan, Hunter Ellison, Alyssa Ellison, Great grandkids Marliegh Rockvoan and Harmony Ellison along with many other nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

At his request his ashes will be spend in Onslow county NC at a later date.
