Franklin “Frankie” Eugene Lemons

Frankie passed away at home on Sunday, May 18th, 2025 at the age of 53. Frankie was born on July 13th, 1971. He loved to watch NASCAR races and he was well known for cooking on his grill outside every day, rain or shine. He also loved the Carolina Tarheels and going fishing.

He worked at J M Pope electric for 25 years .

He is proceeded in death by his daddy, William Franklin Lemons, best known as "Catfish", and his mother, Mary Louise McIntyre Lemons, best known as "Hotdog". He is survived by his sister, Carol Lemons; niece Kimberly Lemons; and great-niece love of his life, Nevaeh Torres.

A memorial will take place on Saturday, May 31st from 2-4pm at The Barn on 87, 3356 Hwy 87, Sanford, NC. The family is asking for everyone to wear something Carolina Blue in memory of Frankie. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the GoFundMe in his name.
