Leavina Ida Ramm

With great sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Leavina I Ramm, who peacefully left us on Aug 29, 2025 at the age of 86. She was born on May 03, 1939 in Victoria Harbor, Canada and lived a life full of love, kindness, and on her own terms.
Leavina was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She dedicated her life to caring for her family and was a pillar of strength to those she loved and cared for. Leavina was always interested to know what was happening in your life and to share her life experience with you. She had a passion for bowling, watching game shows and all sports (too many to list). She was enthralled with movies and could often share trivia about them, especially the ones seen in her youth. Her generosity and warm spirit touched the lives of many. She was especially delighted to be a Grandmother. Finding wonderful activities to create memories that last a lifetime; ice skating shows and other live stage performances. Traveling was fun for her. She enjoyed finding things on the road to do such as Niagra Falls, museums and also finding places to eat. She loved the holidays, she would try and find gifts to surprise and give joy to those she loved. We will all miss sharing happy times with her.
She is survived by Lester Dodd (Debra) [Christi, James (Amy & Quentin) and Katie}, Kathleen Dodd [Clayton (Kristi & Zephyr), and Andrew]. She was preceded in death by Parents Leo Boismier and Kathleen {Petroff} & (Louis Leparskas). Her siblings: Alan, John, Elain, Gary, Ross, Dee, Rosalie. Also survived by her sister Evangeline (Angie). Along with many extended family members and friends.
There will be a family service in NC and OH (at a later date). Family and friends are celebrating her beautiful life in private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Organizations of your choice.
Mom, your love and guidance will remain in our hearts forever.
