Barbara Dew Vavrek

Barbara Vavrek, 83, of Youngsville, NC, died Sunday, September 28,2025 peacefully at home. Born in Raleigh, NC, December 15, 1941. She was preceded in death by her father, John Dew, mother, Leona Powell Dew, and her loving husband of 49 years, Michael John Vavrek.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Deborah Vavrek McGilton (husband Tim), Karen Vavrek Bone (husband Todd), and Elaine Vavrek Vogt (husband Charles).
5 grandchildren, John Sumrell, Sara Vavrek VanHorn, Trevor Bone, Josh Bone, and Ashley Vavrek-Vogt.
2 great grandchildren, Michael and Isabelle
2 brothers, Allen Dew (Neva), and John Dew Jr. (Kitty)
