Bernadine Sita Singh (Davis)

Bernadine Sita Singh of Raleigh, NC passed away suddenly on October 20, 2025. Bernie was born on October 1st, 1961 in Trinidad, West Indies. She emigrated with her family to Queens Village, NY in 1974 where she graduated from Martin Van Buren High School. Bernie moved to Miami, FL in 1984 where she attended the University of Miami, graduating with a BS in Business Administration. Bernie had a lengthy career at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami in their Medical Billing department before relocating to Raleigh, NC in 2008. She was employed by the North Carolina Industrial Commission as their Chief Medical Fee Examiner and recently retired after 17 years of service.

Bernadine was married on September 20th, 2008 and is survived by her husband Richard Scott Davis and her three beloved dogs Max, Bentley and Riley. Bernadine is also survived by her siblings Beverly (Steven) of Boynton Beach FL; Brenda (Gerald) of New Bern NC; Barbara (Jack) of Boynton Beach, FL; Richard (Joanne) of Bellmore, NY; Belinda (Richard) of Riverbend, NC; and Betty-Ann (Terry) of Alexandria, VA. She is also survived by her father-in-law John R. Davis and mother in law, Cookie, of Raleigh, NC; sister in law Debbie Patterson (Alan) of Raleigh, NC and multiple nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

Bernadine most enjoyed cooking, exercising and spending time with her dogs.

Bernie joins her parents Daniel and Sylvia Singh and her cherished fur babies, Jake and Bear in eternal rest.

No services are planned at this time but to honor our Bernie, take care of yourselves, take care of each other and think of our Bernadine often to keep her alive in our hearts.
