Marie Hargrove

Marie Hargrove, 86, of Apex, NC, passed away on September 19th, 2025, following a long and valiantly-fought battle with cancer.

Born on August 31st, 1939 in Pittsburg, TX, Marie was the daughter of the late William and Janet (Blair) Hargrove. Marie graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in English, and went on to earn a Master's degree in psychology. For many years she was a school psychologist in Sarasota, Florida. She loved the ocean, sailing, and being outdoors. In her later years, she became a devoted and loving grandmother.

Marie is survived by her daughter Anne, son-in-law Brian, and grandsons Will and Adam. She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Joyce and Evelyn.
