Alan Linden Williams

Alan Stewart Linden, age 86 of Raleigh, North Carolina, passed away on January 4 at Wake Med North hospital after a brief illness.
Alan was born on November 16, 1939 in Bronx, New York.
After high school he attended City College of New York where he graduated with a degree in political science.
He later relocated to the Washington DC area to pursue his career as a systems analyst, working for many years at the CRS/ Library of Congress. After leaving he became a consultant and manager of technical systems for several major corporations.
He was preceded in death by his parents Jacob and May Linden, annd sister Elaine Laurence. He is survived by his daughter Juliana Williams and son in law James, and two granddaughters.
Alan’s interests included travel, politics, and maintaining a wide social network. He will be remembered for his humor and larger than life personality, and missed by all.
Internment at the family plot in New Jersey to follow at a later date.
