Ralph (Bubba) Wilburn Bradberry, 80, died from Alzheimers/Dementia on Sunday, March 15, 2026. He was born May 30, 1945 in Virginia, the son of Herman Dorsey and Laura May Hardee Bradberry.

Bubba was married on September 3, 1999 to Iris Green and spent his life as a farmer, store owner of Hester Country Store and State Employee as a boiler operator at Central Regional Hospital.

Bubba loved gardening, hunting and fishing. He spent his time outside enjoying his dogs. He especially loved being with his family and friends including his nieces, nephews, grandsons and recently his great-grandson. He also loved taking trips with IB and spending time at home with her.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter Brandi Boyd and siblings, Herman, Hank, Carolyn, Jennie and Della.
Surviving in addition to his wife Iris (Green) Bradberry are his son Dale (Lisa) of Castalia, NC; daughter April (Boyd) Ellis; grandsons Brandon, Ryan (Kelsey), Zachary (Cheyanne) and great grandson Dawson; one brother Jerrie of Louisburg; many nieces and nephews.

A service of love and remembrance will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 29, 2026 at Bullock United Methodist Church, 2690 US-15 Creedmoor, 27522. Visitation will be held after the funeral at the home of Iris Bradberry. Visitors are welcome at the family home in the afternoons between 2-7 daily as well.
