Mary Sandra Perry

Mary Sandra Perry (Sandy) passed away Monday March 23rd at home in Wake Forest, North Carolina after challenging a number of major medical problems for several years. She was born November 24th, 1944, in Wilson, North Carolina to the late Jesse W. Perry and Elizabeth Beatrice Perry.

Survivors include her brother Michael Perry, her sister-in-law Karen Perry, a very special aunt Linda Worthington living in Greenville, North Carolina, a niece and her husband Lisa and Jim Howell living in Greensboro, North Carolina, a nephew Mark Perry and numerous cousins living in Germany, North Carolina, Florida, and Utah.

Sandy lived in Mariette, Georgia while working for Allstate and New Horizons Bank. She retired and relocated to Raleigh, North Carolina in 2009. Sandy moved to the Wake Forest Del Webb community in 2019 where she thoroughly enjoyed socializing with an exceptional group of women living in the community.

The family expresses its sincere appreciation to Stay at Home Senior Care (Amivie) and Heartland Hospice for increasing Sandy's life and improving her quality of life for many months.

Per her request no service is planned. Arrangments are in the care of the City of Oaks Funeral Home and Cremation. Condolences may be sent to Michael Perry.
