Darlene Olsen

Darlene C. Olsen, 78 of Hillsborough, N.C., entered her eternal rest on March 29th, 2026 at Hillside Nursing Center in Wake Forest, NC in the presence of her caregivers/advocates, Lorri Barnett and Patricia McCain.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 50 years, John Olsen, her brothers, Tommy & Larry Carpenter as well as her parents.

Her pastimes included traveling, watching Food Network & The Andy Griffith Show. She spent 30 years of her life as an Accountant for Gammaflux, from which she retired.

She leaves to cherish her sister-n-laws, Julie Ramseur and Katherine Carpenter, neices and nephews. Longtime family friends Joann & Mitch Wall and Larry.

Her final wishes were to have her ashes along with her husband's taken to the family plot in Virginia.

She will truly be missed.
