Briana Sullivan Williamson

Briana Sullivan Williamson was born on July 24, 1979, and passed away at the age of 46 on May 5, 2026, at UNC Chapel Hill Hospital. A native of Pinetown, North Carolina, she made her home in Mebane in recent years.
Briana was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and aunt whose life was centered around her family. She had a deep love for her children, Makenna and Graeson, who were the heart of everything she did. Known for her selflessness, Briana would do anything for anyone in need, always putting others before herself with a generous and compassionate spirit.
She graduated from Northside High School in 1998 and went on to attend UNC Asheville and East Carolina University. Briana spent part of her career working in the restaurant industry before transitioning into healthcare, where she continued her calling of helping others.
Briana had a passion for running, her church, and spending time with those she loved. Whether she was cheering on her children, lending a hand to a friend, or simply being present for her family, she made a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter, Makenna; her son, Graeson; her mother, Terresa McLawhorn; her stepfather, Randy McLawhorn; her sister, Greta Ragland and husband Jason Ragland; her brother, Adam Sullivan and wife Delene; and her beloved nephews, Gavin and Briar, who lovingly called her “Aunt Bri.”
She was preceded in death by her father, Anthony Sullivan of Pinetown.
Briana will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and unwavering love for her family. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
