Alex Falcone

Alex was born in Minturno Italy and came to America as a toddler.
He grew up in the Rhawnhurst section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and graduated from Father Judge High School - Class of 1972.
“Al” as everyone called him, was a Mortgage Broker who owned and operated his own Mortgage Company for years. He was a successful business owner and was a man who thrived on integrity and honesty. Many of his clients were return clients because they knew that Al would always do right with them. After retiring from the mortgage industry, he obtained his Life and Health Insurance License and sold insurance and did so with the same business acumen. Al was a man who was always himself --- never a phony. Al was someone you could trust and his word was gold.
He was a man who would help anyone and his compassion for others was second to none. Al would give you the shirt off of his back. He had a great sense of humor, he loved listening to music, especially the oldies from the 50’s and 60’s. He loved Abbott and Costello and Laurel and Hardy movies, and his favorite comedian of all time was Red Skelton.
Al was a wonderful husband and Father. He and Julie met at the Omni Hotel in Philadelphia and he promised to make her laugh every day and he kept that promise. He was always there for his kids who were his heart and soul. His children could always count on him and know that he was there for help, guidance and love. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. He was a great Pop-Pop and loved his grandchildren immensely. The love he had for his family will live on forever.
When he found out he had Stage IV cancer he did not think of himself but instead his thoughts were with Julie and his children. Al was a man with a giant heart and soul.
Al is survived by his wife Julie, and children, Nicole (Robert), Vincent (Kristen) and Steven. Grandchildren, Nicholas, Anthony, Matthew, Malania, Aubrianna, and Lydia, his brother Antonio, his Mother-in-Law, Rose Esola, his cousin Marie Mersereau and his brother-in-law Joseph Esola.
