Beth Gaspar

Janet “Beth” Gaspar, 66, of Raleigh, NC, passed away after a long battle with cancer on October 3, 2021. She was born in Mineola, NY, to Harold and Jane Hudson, and graduated with a Master’s of Science Degree in Business from SUNY at Albany. Her passion was teaching and she made a difference in the lives of her children by teaching for more than 33 years. She first taught high school and college in Sone Ridge , NY. When she moved to Raleigh, she became a preschool teacher and taught young children at Asbury Methodist for over 25 years.

Beth is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Peter Gaspar, her son, Tony, of Raleigh, NC, Marjorie Dillinger and husband Buddy; brother, Howard Hudson and wife Mary; step daughter Robynn Gaspar Llano and husband Angel; and grandson Seth Llano. She is also survived by six nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Harold Hudson and mother Jane Hudson
Celebration of Life will be held at Asbury United Methodist Church 6612 Creedmoor road, Raleigh NC on October 9th at 11 am.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society or Transitions Lifecare of Raleigh.
